Our story began decades ago on the bustling streets of Mumbai, where Najmuddin Polaiwala, affectionately known as Dadaji, ignited the flame of entrepreneurship. With a vision to provide quality clothing to the community, Dadaji started by selling women’s nighties and other garments for just 100Rs. His dedication and hard work laid the foundation of our family’s journey in the garment business.

Inheriting his father’s legacy, Kaidjohar Polaiwala, recognized the potential to expand into community-based commerce. With an innovative approach, he ventured into the world of Rida’s t-shirts and Izaars, initially outsourcing manufacturing and focusing solely on wholesale distribution.

Despite facing challenges along the way, our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction propelled us forward. Within a short span of 1-2 years, our efforts bore fruit, and we established our own manufacturing facility, employing a small but dedicated team.

As we grew, we encountered both triumphs and setbacks, but our resilience and determination remained unwavering. A pivotal moment came when we decided to diversify into retail, marking the birth of our flagship brand, JUMMIP, under the umbrella of Raj Garment Company.
